![]() ![]() I nearly had the same experience just last week. I just turned it off and it fired back up again just fine so I don’t know what to think □ I drove the van home and I’m going to see what happens in the morning. The battery checked out fine, and the van fired up normally at Autozone. So he was kind enough to follow me up to Autozone and we had them test the battery. So the AAA guy shows and he puts one of those portable battery jumpers on it and the van fired right up!!! He said the portable battery jumpers are a lot stronger than just trying to jumpĬar-car. So I called AAA for a tow to the Honda dealership. After a few more times even the dash lights weren’t coming on and I could no longer hear the ticking sound. So I told my wife to take my car since she had to pick up our son, and I stayed with the van. ![]() So I tried jumping the car with my jumper cables. I could also hear a slow “tick tick tick tick” when holding the ignition button. Multiple brake system errors and eventually a battery issue message came up as well. Pushing the ignition button, all kinds of system error messages were coming up. My first thought was maybe her key fob battery was dead. She told me all kinds of lights were coming on the dash but the engine wasn’t cranking. (She said it started completely fine when she left the house for the store.) When she went to leave the store the van wouldn’t start for her. My wife took the van to the grocery store. 2019 Odyssey (43,300 miles) wouldn’t start tonight! ![]()
